BALANCE IS KEY💫
.
Headlines are all around telling us what not to eat, how many calories you need to burn off to eat your mince pie or how to make your belly shrink but let’s be real, this isn’t going to help do anything. None of this will lead to happiness. Ditch the diets and enjoy your Christmas and overall life by finding balance. •
🤩And news flash - a roast dinner can be and is super nutritious, you have all your macro and micro nutrients in one plate. Of course we may like the roast potatoes higher on Christmas Day but we also have to remember that there is so much more to food than just calories; enjoyment, taste, memories. .
•
❤️ALSO, If you want to eat something, try not to restrict yourself. However, there is a difference between moderation and binging. Listening to our body and our internal cues means We don’t always have to eat because it’s sitting right there (unless it’s your nans apple crumble, never say no to that 😉) .
•
🎄Why not get in the kitchen and bake some sweet treats instead of shop buying. Involve your kids, nephews, Friends and make a real memory of it. .
•
🥦But at the end of the day, leading a balanced lifestyle occurs all year, but it doesn’t stop or start at Christmas.
